Halloween in Germany

Hey everyone,

today was a pretty fulfilling day. We all pretty much woke up earlier than we did the past couple of days that we’ve been here, which was a good thing I guess. We spent it making an awesome, homemade breakfast that we hadn’t had this good in a while, toast and airplane food just doesn’t cut it. Afterward, we cleaned up the kitchen nice and neat. We all did our part, Johnny wiped the counters, Travis did the dishes, I took the trash out, Greg put away the food, and Anthony slept. Unfortunately, he wasn’t feeling good all day. Poor guy. We all then moved into the living room and jammed on the guitars for about a half hour using the robot guitars in open tunings, very fun stuff. Then we left to check out the inner city of Hamburg, our destination. After a couple of trips on the train, we ended up spending a few hours at the Rathaus, which is a courthouse located in downtown Hamburg, it was pretty fun; we checked out a couple of clothes stores and took some pretty gnarly pictures in front of the landmarks. Quite a beautiful place to be if you are there in person, pictures just don’t do justice. After that, we headed back to the house to make some dinner since we were starving after a day of walking around in the cold. For some reason the whole day I forgot that it was Halloween until later on in the night when me and Johnny were walking to the market and saw children trick or treating down the street going from business to business in happiness. They were so pure and animated with joy. It literally put a smile to my face. 🙂 The rest of the night was just laid back, just ate our meal and watched some movies. I thought it was a good way to spend a day without the studio. Good times. Keep it real yo.
